Get Ready for Inaugural Event #84: $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller
A new event at the World Series of Poker is almost underway with Event #84: $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller. Day 1 of the two-day tournament kicks off at 3 p.m. Pacific Time as the 2021 WSOP reaches its tail end.
Players will begin with a starting stack of 300,000 with blinds at 300/500 with a 500 ante paid by the big blind. Because the game is pot-limit, the ante only counts as part of the pot after the flop.
Day 1 will play for 17 40-minute levels with 15-minute breaks every three levels. Late registration will remain open for 12 levels. Day 2 will start up on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. and will play down to a winner, who will earn the lion's share of the prize pool and bracelet glory.
The high-roller PLO tournament is anticipated to attract world-class Omaha specialists and some of the top names in poker.
