Gahl Eliminates Two in Two Hands

Nível 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On a completed board of {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Martins Adeniya had his remaining 660,000 in against Sebastian Gahl. Gahl had the nuts with {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} and knocked out Adeniya.

On the next hand, Ruslan Rogozhyn jammed his 175,000 stack in from middle position and Gahl isolated from the cutoff.

Ruslan Rogozhyn: {k-Spades}{4-Spades}
Sebastian Gahl: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Rogozhyn's fate was quickly decided as the board ran out {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} to send him to the payout desk.

Big Slick for Weinstein

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Martins Adeniya opened in middlle position and Ken Weinstein flat-called in the small blind, as did the big blind.

Weinstein and the big blind checked on the {5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop and Adeniya continued with a bet of 60,000. Weinstein then check-raised to 250,000 and only Adeniya called.

Weinstein bet 350,000 on the {10-Clubs} turn and his opponent tanked for several minutes.

"I'm happy to get it in if you want to get it in," Weinstein told his opponent. "But the action is on you."

Weinstein eventually called the clock and Adeniya was given 30 seconds to act. He folded about 10 seconds into the countdown.

Weinstein asked his opponent if he wanted to see his hand and then turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for top pair.
