Ace on the River Sends Patni Out

Nível 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Kunal Patni
Kunal Patni

Kunal Patni was all-in before the flop against Lipei Xu for 81,500 and Xu had him slightly covered.

Kunal Patni: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Lipei Xu: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Patni was a big favorite and it was looking like he was going to double up as the turn read {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} but the {a-Hearts} hit the river, eliminating Patni and sending the chips to Xu.

Roland Israelashvili

With 27,500 chips in the middle the flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades} and both PeterPaul Shaker and Roland Isaelashvili checked through to the {10-Clubs} turn, to see the {q-Diamonds} on the river.

Israelashvili led out for 10,000 and Shaker paused before saying, "I have an ace."

Israelashvili responded, "I can't tell you what I have."

Shaker threw in the chips to call and Israelashvili tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a straight. Shaker knuckled the table and threw his hand into the muck.

Wade Running Perfect

Nível 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Tristan Wade
Tristan Wade

A player raised in early position to 8,000 and Tristan Wade jammed for 65,500. The action folded back around to the original raiser and he quickly called while opening his hand.

Tristan Wade: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Early Position: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Wade ran into a monster and the {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop was no help. The {q-Hearts} on the turn gave Wade some more outs and the {q-Clubs} on the river was one of them as he made trip queens to remain in the tournament.
