Katyayan Can't Crack Watson's Ladies

Nível 4 : 300/500, 0 ante
Mike Watson
Mike Watson

Amit Katyayan raised to 1,400 from under the gun and found three callers before Mike Watson three-bet to 8,400 from the big blind.

Action was back on Katyayan who four-bet all in for roughly 16,000 and only Watson called.

Amit Katyayan: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Mike Watson: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Watson held the better made hand but the {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Spades} flop gave Katyayan more outs with a gutshot straight draw.

Unfortunately for Katyayan, the board double paired after the {6-Clubs} turn and {2-Diamonds} river, ending his tournament.

Phil Laak
Phil Laak

Phil Laak raised to 1,300 from the hijack only to call the 4,500 three-bet Dominique Mosley tossed out from the cutoff.

The flop came {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Laak checked his option to Mosley who continued for 3,500. The bet was good enough as Laak released his hand and Mosley raked in the pot.

Liedtke's Shows Double Two Pair

Nível 3 : 200/400, 0 ante
Mark Liedtke
Mark Liedtke

Mark Liedtke raised to 1,200 from the hijack and found two callers that brought action three-ways to the {2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop.

Action was checked to the cutoff who fired out 400 and only Liedtke check-called.

Both players checked the {6-Spades} turn and {7-Spades} river to showdown.

Liedtke rolled over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and won the pot after his opponent mucked their hand.

Master of Ceremonies Vince Vaughn Suffers Bad Beat in His First WSOP Tournament

Nível 3 : 200/400, 0 ante
Vince Vaughn
Vince Vaughn

Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn, the star of Swingers, Old School, Wedding Crashers, and Dodgeball, was recently announced as the "Master of Ceremonies" for the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

Yesterday, he gave the traditional "shuffle up and deal" announcement at the final table of the WSOP Main Event, and on Wednesday he returned for several other promotional endeavors. Once finished, he took the opportunity to enter his first-ever WSOP gold bracelet tournament, Event #79: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty where every Poker Hall of Famer had a bounty on their head.

While not a member of the PHoF, Vaughn, too, had a target on his back as Jack Effel revealed the WSOP was putting a $10,000 bounty on the actor, much to the delight of players sat with him at Table 2 in the Brasilia Room.

How did he do? Find out here!
