Liu Gets Rivered by Sereika

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action was picked up with cards on their backs and Karolis Sereika all-in and at risk against Bin Liu.

Karolis Sereika: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Bin Liu: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The flop came out {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades} which gave Liu top pair and left Sereika drawing to a gutshot. The turn came out the {10-Diamonds}, bringing no help to Sereika, but the river {j-Clubs} gave Sereika an ace-high straight, and he found an early double against one of the big stacks.

Burrows Wins A Big One

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was picked up on a river on a board reading {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} with 135,000 in the middle, with Joe Serock and Brent Burrows contesting the pot.

The action was on Serock, who bet 220,000, which Burrows responded to by going all-in. A clearly frustrated Serock asked for a count and the dealer counted the stack out to 270,000 which had Serock shaking his head as he pondered a call. After a short amount of time, he tossed his hand into the muck saying he folded a flush and Burrows took down a large pot early in the day.
