PokerNews Podcast

On the latest episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Jesse Fullen and Chad Holloway come to you from the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP)!

Registration on the 2021 WSOP $10,000 Main Event closed with 6,550 players! Find out how things stacked up during Day 4 play including a deep run by Chris Moneymaker. They also talk about Pennsylvania math teacher John Coyle, who qualified for the WSOP Main Event for just $5, as well as a pair of big hands — quads-over-quads on the live stream and the cracked aces money bubble hand suffered by Kevin Campbell.

They also welcome special guest Michael Graydon from Birmingham, Alabama, who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer seven months ago. The poker community stepped up to support the 40-year-old husband & father of two. A number of players came together to fund Graydon's trip to the WSOP this year including an entry to the Main Event. Lára Neacy met with him just before he took his seat for Day 1D to hear his story & new perspective on life.

Henson Takes From Friedman

Nível 11

Pot-Limit Triple Draw

With action picked up on the final draw after the players had each drawn two, then one in the earlier drawing rounds, Adam Friedman checked to Ray Henson who bet 15,000.

Friedman called and drew one while Henson patted.

Both players then checked and Henson showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} for the winner to drag a nice pot to put him over 100,000 chips

Five Card Draw High

Phil Hellmuth was down to his last 9,000 chips in the small blind and moved all-in into Johannes Becker's big blind.

Becker called, only needing to draw one, while Hellmuth needed three cards.

Hellmuth started with a pair of jacks and couldn't improve to beat Becker's two pair, kings and fives, sending the 16-time bracelet winner out the door early.

2021 WSOP Streaming Exclusively on PokerGO

PokerGO WSOP
PokerGO WSOP

The 2021 World Series of Poker is in full swing, and PokerGO is live streaming many of the events.

PokerGO has partnered with CBS Sports Network to provide WSOP coverage with the likes of Lon McEachern, Norman Chad, and Jamie Kerstetter returning to the WSOP broadcast booth this year, along with PokerNews Podcast co-host Jeff Platt from time to time.

CBS Sports Network will televise 16 pre-produced and edited episodes of the 2021 World Series of Poker Main Event, after striking a multi-year deal earlier this year. This deal sees coverage of the WSOP Main Event return to its original broadcast partner after featuring on CBS Sports Spectacular in the mid-1970s.

All 16 episodes will be televised following the conclusion of the tournament.

PokerGO will provide live streaming duties of the World Championship event starting on Day 1A (November 4) until the end on November 17, except Day 1B (November 5).

Away from the Main Event, there will be additional coverage of more than two dozen tournaments thru November 23, 2021. They include the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and the $250,000 Super High Roller.

Here's a look at the remaining PokerGO live-stream schedule:
