Stephen Deutsch

The action began with Stephen Deutsch who moved all in preflop and was called by Adam Owen.

The hands were tabled and it was the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} held by Deutsch versus the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs} held by Owen,

The dealer spread the flop of {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Deustsch jumped into the lead with top two pairs.

The turn card was the {8-Spades} which gave Owen a flush draw.

The river card was the {5-Spades} and completed the nut spade flush draw for Owen. With that, Desutsch was eliminated from the tournament.

Owen Doubles Through Arieh

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Picking up the action on the flop of {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Adam Owen and Josh Arieh were heads-up. Owen led out with a bet from the big blind and Arieh raised enough to put Owen to the test for his remaining 194,000. Owen called and the cards were tabled.

Adam Owen: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Josh Arieh: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Both players flopped two pair but Arieh had the better of the two. However, the {8-Clubs} on the turn improved Owen to a full house and the {a-Diamonds} on the river left it that way as Owen scored a double up.
