Robertson Chips Up

Nível 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

The action was discovered with Raphael Robertson who had called his opponent's all-in bet.

The hands were turned face up and it was Robertson and his {a-Spades}{9-Spades} that led the {j-Spades}{8-Spades} of his opponent.

The dealer flopped the {6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Robertson extended his lead.

The turn card {k-Spades} and the river card {3-Hearts} changed nothing, and Robertson eliminated his opponent and chipped up to 37,500.

Vangarelli Stacking Chips After One-Outer

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

The action was picked up on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Rigo Vangarelli, who had been raised all-in by his opponent, was deep in the tank. After a few minutes, Vangarelli opted to call and both hands were turned face-up.

It was the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for trip fives held by his at-risk opponent that dominated the pocket {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for two pair held by Vangarelli.

The dealer placed the turn card {a-Hearts} and Vangarelli hit his one outer to take the lead. Now, his opponent was the one in need of help.

The river card, however, was the {8-Diamonds} and that made it official with Vangarelli's better full house, aces full of fives, and he was awarded the pot and chipped up to 115,000 chips.

Four Way Limp Fold to Kline

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante
Bill Klein
Bill Klein

A player in middle position, the cutoff, the button, and the small blind for a total of four players limped into the pot with Bill Klein in the big blind.

Klein raised to 2,400 and all four players quickly folded. Klein scooped it in and will be a player to watch today in the Seniors Championship.

The notable High Stakes player Bill Klein will be looking to make his presence felt and is used to playing some of the game's best players from around the world.

He will no doubt be a very tough player in today's Senior Championship.

Varnell Eliminated Early

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Kevin Varnell, who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and put into the tournament by his son Craig Varnell, for his first-ever WSOP playing experience was just all-in on the turn for his last 6,000 chips and faced calls from two opponents.

The final board read {10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

On the river, one of his opponents bet and the other folded.

Kevin Varnell: {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Varnell's day in the tournament has unfortunately ended early, but we hope he had a great experience.
