In a preflop all-in contest, John Racener ended up at risk against Anatolii Zyrin. He tabled the 
for kings and eights while Zyrin had the 
for a set of jacks. Racener drew the 
as his last card and was eliminated while Zyrin's 
were exposed for just a short moment.
The late registration remains open until the start of Day 2 and Jake Schwartz was among the latest entries, along with Brayden Gazlay. Jon Turner and John Monnette were eliminated with the latter sending over his last few chips to Nacho Barbero.

Bets of 5,400 and 12,500 were already placed on a board of 
and it was then Tony Hartmann who bet the river for 20,000 out of the big blind. Michael Chow was in the tank on the button and eventually released his cards into the muck.

After taking one card each after the second draw, Robert Mizrachi bet and Jon Turner called. Mizrachi then patted and Turner took one for the former to bet and the latter to call.

Nacho Barbero bet sixth street to get check-called by John Monnette, who then check-raised seventh and Barbero called. Monnette tabled the 
for a flush and a low but Barbero had 
for the superior flush and a better low. That hand left Monnette on a short stack while Barbero continued his rise on the leaderboard.

Greg Mueller was all-in with a short stack and all but made a pair of sevens against Benny Glaser, who ended up with a lot and pair of eights to scoop it all.

Down to just 10,600, Michael Saltzburg was all-in and patted on each draw. Adam Friedman took one card each and Saltzburg then tabled the
