The top four stacks to start the day all came from Day 1A as well-known pro James Romero leads them all with 620,000. Jeremy Shockett with 576,500 enters Day 2 in second place; Brendan Shiller has the third biggest stack with 574,000 and Greg Buonocore enters in fourth place with 534,000. It is not until the fifth-biggest stack where the Day 1B chip leader is reached; which would be Rob Wazwaz with 510,500.

Derek McMaster (411,500), JJ Liu (411,500), Chris Moorman (227,500), Andrew Moreno (226,000) and Qui Nguyen (195,000) are just a few of the many names remaining in the field who will make for a scintillating Day 2.

The money bubble will not be reached until the top 528 remain, meaning over half of the remaining players still have to be trimmed away before anyone can guarantee themselves cash.

There is plenty of stack depth left as play will begin at Level 12 with blinds at 1,500/3,000 with a 3,000 big blind ante in this very player-friendly structure. Ten 60-minute levels will be played today with a 60-minute dinner break happening after Level 19 today.

PokerNews will have all the coverage of today’s action so make sure to keep your interest locked all day long for the big hands, chip counts and stories that the monster stack is sure to create.
