Nível 16
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Razz

Cary Katz: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{4-}{3-}
Mike Matusow: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{2-}{2-}

On fifth street, Cary Katz bet and Matusow quickly folded with a chuckle while admitting he mistakenly was playing Stud Hi-Lo that hand.

Becker Busted by Buckley

Nível 16

Razz

Johannes Becker never recovered from the multiple setbacks and ended up starting a Razz hand with two queens. DJ Buckley had an {a-}{6-}{6-}{7-}{j-} showing and ended up with a better jack in the end as Becker almost got there only to come up short and bust in 28th place.

Three Quarters for Yu

Nível 16

Omaha Hi-Lo

On a board of {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Chris Wallace and Ben Yu went all the way with both showing the same straight. Wallace tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} but only received half of the high pot as Yu's {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs} also had a low to earn three quarters.

Stud Hi-Lo

Chad Campbell: {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts} / {x-}
Yuval Bronshtein: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} / {a-Clubs}

Chad Campbell was at risk and the cards were mashed together already. He made a pair of kings while Yuval Bronshtein had a low and the chance to scoop it all. Sure enough, Bronshtein peeled the ace on seventh and Campbell drew a blank to bust in 29th place.

Sean Perry was previously left short in a Limit Hold'em hand and never recovered from that to also hit the rail.

Campbell On the Ropes

Nível 15

Seven Card Stud

Philip Sternheimer made kings and deuces against Chad Campbell in a Stud hand and Campbell then took another hit when Yuval Bronshtein made {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{a-Clubs} on sixth to force another fold. Campbell sunk back down in his chair in disgust and dropped to just a handful of big bets after he let go once more.

Becker Left Short; Rast Doubles

Nível 15

Limit Hold'em

Brian Rast ended up as the player at risk with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Johannes Becker had two live cards with the {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop improved Becker and he retained the lead on the {2-Hearts} turn. However, Rast got there with the {10-Clubs} river to stay alive.

Dirksen Busts to Wallace

Nível 15

Limit Hold'em

In a battle of short stacks on the button and in the big blind respectively, Dustin Dirksen ended up at risk with the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Chris Wallace was ahead with {a-Spades}{3-Spades} but fell behind on the {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop. The {a-Diamonds} turn restored the preflop order and the {2-Clubs} river was a blank to eliminate Dirksen.

Ohel Eliminated by Sternheimer

Nível 15

Seven Card Stud

Randy Ohel: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} / {10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} / {10-Hearts}
Jean Gaspard: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades} fold
Philip Sternheimer: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} / {5-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs} / {5-Diamonds}

On fifth street, Randy Ohel ended up at risk while Jean Gaspard folded a king-nine high. Philip Sternheimer revealed aces in the hole and failed to improve on sixth. Ohel picked up even more equity but only made a pair on seventh, while Sternheimer further improved to aces and fives.
