Nível 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

According to Jorge Sipaila and another player at the table, Sipaila held {a-}{a-} in the first hand he played and got all his chips against a player with {k-}{k-}. Sipaila's bullets held and he got off to a great start, unlike his opponent.

Earlier, PokerNews' Jesse Fullen found himself in an aces versus king scenario, which resulted in the PokerNews man chipping up nicely.

Phillips Chips Up

Nível 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

With the board reading {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, and a pot of 7,000 in the middle, the player in the big blind bet 400 and was raised to 2,400 by Darrin Phillips on the button. The raise folded out Phillips' opponent.

The player who folded said, "That's what I wanted to know. Ace-king or ace-queen?"

Phillips chuckled and just said, "Big ones."

Amoroso Busts a Player in First Hand

Nível 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Austin Amoroso said he had just sat down at his table when this action transpired in his first hand of the day.

Amoroso raised to 800 preflop and got two callers. The flop was {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. He bet 3000 and both players called. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and after he put out a bet of 6,300, both players called again. The {6-Clubs} hit the river and Amoroso jammed all-in. One opponent called for his remaining 10,300 chips while the other player folded.

Amoroso showed {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a full house; his opponent mucked and got up from his seat. Amoroso now has more than double his starting stack after the first hand he's played today.

Jesse Fullen
Jesse Fullen

Facing a bet of 400 from the under-the-gun player, PokerNews' Jesse Fullen moved all-in from the big blind for his opponent's remaining 12,200 chips. The opponent called, and two players turned over their cards.

Fullen: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
