The final day of Event #26: $888 CRAZY EIGHTS No Limit Hold'em 8-Handed will begin at 9 a.m. EST, and by the end of the day, there will be a WSOP bracelet handed out. The total prize pool of $1,982,460 was amassed from 2,350 entries. Only 31 players continue to play today, and action will start in level 33 at 35,000/70,000 with an 8,500 ante. The average stack to start Day 2 is just under 1.9 million which translates to about 27 big blinds.

Although most of this tournament is 8-handed, the final table will consist of the final nine players. Consistent with GGPoker’s featured final table rules, players will be able to switch seats upon reaching the final table and the blinds will be rolled back to ensure the average stack is at least 40 big blinds.

Leading the hunt for the bracelet is Venezuelan Eugenio "Ausetep_255" Pernia, who made the final table and finished seventh in Event #14: $500 THE BIG 500 earlier in this 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Series. He claimed the Day 1 chip lead with 4,953,264 chips and will have around 70 big blinds to continue his run in the beginning of Day 2. Rounding out the top three stacks are Alexandru Papazian (4,580,301) and Bahar "reallyeasy" Musa (4,106,684).

Some of the other players going for gold include Simon Lofberg, who won a WSOP bracelet in last year’s GGPoker WSOP Online Series, England’s George "Kacicka" Sandford, and Nikola Minkov, who made the final table of Event #14: $500 THE BIG 500 along with Day 1 chip leader Pernia and finished fifth in that event.
