Haraldstad Hits River in Six Million Chip Pot

Blinds: 50,000/100,000

Joachim Haraldstad was on the button, and Renan "domdebaralho" Martines in the small blind, when the two of them got into a raising war that saw a pot of 6,688,000 chips develop. Martines showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, while Haraldstad had {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The flop of {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} was a blank for both, and the {k-Hearts} turn gave Haraldstad a straight draw. That wouldn't be needed though, as the {q-Clubs} came on the river, giving him a winning pair of queens, and a top five stack.

"CrownUpTsu" Shoves the River

Blinds: 40,000/80,000

There was already 700,000 and change in the middle when the turn hit on a board reading {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, when Yuri Dzivielevski checked to "CrownUpTsu", who fired 480,000. Dzivielevski called to push the pot over 1.5 million, and the {9-Diamonds} completed the board.

Dzivielevski checked again, and this time, "CrownUpTsu" moved all in, forcing Dzivielevski to decide for his final million chips. He would fold, and a big pot was sent over to "CrownUpTsu" without a showdown.

Eckert Doubles Through Riess

Blinds: 35,000/70,000

Sergio "Britney Spew" Eckert got his short stack in preflop holding {a-Spades}{4-Spades}, and he was in trouble, as Ryan Riess had put him at risk holding {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. However, the flop of {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} left Riess drawing dead, as Eckert had hit a flush. Eckert doubles to over 800,000, while Riess is still in fine shape.

Vicente Check Raises Holz on the River

Blinds: 30,000/60,000

Brener "Runnerb 2" Vicente raised to 120,000, and Fedor Holz was the lone caller. Both players checked the flop of {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}, and the {10-Diamonds} came on the turn. Vicente fired 195,000, Holz tagged along, and the {q-Hearts} came on the river.

Vicente checked, and Holz fired 660,000 into a pot of about 790,000, but Vicente wanted to play for more, check raising all in. Holz immediately folded, and Vicente dragged a nice pot off the former double WSOP bracelet winner.

After a raise from big stack Yuri Dzivielevski, "Tokyo90210" moved all in for their final 600,000 and change. Dzivielevski quickly called holding {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and he was flipping against his opponent's jacks.

Konstas Busts Maimone in Massive Pot

Blinds: 15,000/30,000

We didn't get the exact preflop action, but big stacks Nick Maimone and Ioannis Konstas got in a raising war from the hijack and the cutoff that saw a pot of over two million chips develop preflop.

Maimone was all in holding {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}, and he was well behind the two red kings held by Konstas. However, Maimone shot out to a huge lead after the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop gave him top two pair. But then, the {7-Diamonds} on the turn suddenly gave Konstas a flush draw along with the two remaining kings, and the {2-Diamonds} came on the river to give Konstas a flush, and a massive knockout.
