Will Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler Win His First Real WSOP Gold Bracelet?

Nível 10 : 600/1,200, 120 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler is among the masses to take his shot at a gold bracelet today. Kessler, a three-time gold ring winner, has come close to winning bracelets in the past with four runner-up finishes in the past.

The first came when he finished second to Todd Brunson in the 2005 WSOP Event #21: $2,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better for $132,110, and then again at the 2011 WSOP he finished second to Frank Kassela in Event #15: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship for $276,485.

The following year, Kessler fell to Brian Rast in heads-up play in the 2011 WSOP Event #15: $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em for $140,309. More recently, Kessler sought out a WSOP Europe bracelet but once again had to settle for second in the 2017 WSOPE Event #6: €2,200 Pot-Limit Omaha for €57,897.

All told, Kessler has 179 WSOP-related cashes totaling $1,983,863 dating back to 2001, but thus far a gold bracelet has escaped him for nearly two decades. That could call change in this tournament!
