Several players bowed out in quick succession and among them were "LilyP", Brock Wilson, and Pedro "Neto 10" Chaves, among others.

"LilyP" saw their hopes vanish when {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} failed to get there against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker who earned the check mark on the turn of a {j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{2-Hearts} board.

Soon after, Chaves sent his chips over to Alexandros "THE Sheriff" Theologis as {k-Spades}{q-Spades} was no good to crack the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} of the Greek. The {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} board provided a gutshot but no more.

The river brought the {9-Hearts} and Foxen fired a third shell worth 750,240. Theologis, however, check-raised all in for 1,753,044 and Foxen let it go after some thought.

Daniel Negreanu was at risk towards the end of the previous level when he once again clashed with Gaby "kidrurim" Livshitz and they headed into the following showdown.

On a board of {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Negreanu avoided a chop and scored the full double.

Livshitz got a double of his own soon after at the new blinds when {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} got there to beat the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Christian Rudolph. The {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board kept the player from Israel in contention.

The river was peeled agonizingly slowly before revealing the case {5-Spades} to improve "Schen" to quads and eliminate Alt from the tournament.
