Yesterday, Chad "ThefastLayne" Layne was on the final table in the PLOSSUS. Although he was unable to find WSOP gold he did take seventh place for $29,194. Not bad for a $400 buy-in.
Layne is back at it again today, this time in short deck.
In a recent hand, Layne raised to 8,000 from under the gun before he called three-bet by "presta" from the button to 44,000.
Both players checked after the 
came on the flop. Layne then fired out for 112,000 after the 
came on the turn and got a call.
Layne bet big again, this time 336,000 after the 
completed the board on the river and got another call. "presta" turned over 
for top two pair but the pot went over to Layne after he turned over 
for a straight.
