Leecy Gets Fold on River

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player limped from early position and Matthew Leecy raised to 1,100 from the hijack. All players behind him folded and action was back on the limper, who called.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and the early position player checked. Leecy made a continuation-bet of 1,200 and received a call.

The turn was {3-Spades} and the player in early position led out for 1,700. Leecy thought for a few moments and then made the call, bringing the river {q-Clubs}. Leecy's opponent checked to him and he announced a bet of 3,600. His opponent thought for about a minute and relinquished his hand.

Meanwhile at the table, Linglin Zeng has increased her stack to 81,000 after finding herself below starting stack at the first break.

"What a River!"

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Pablo Melogno opened to 700 from the cutoff and was called by the button and both of the blinds. Four players headed to the flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and the action checked around to the {7-Hearts} on the turn.

The blinds checked again and Melogno fired out a bet of 1,600. The button called and both of the blinds folded. The river brought the {q-Diamonds} and Melogno checked this time. His opponent also tapped the table and Melogno turned over {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

"What a river!" his opponent shouted. "One outer," indicating that he had a better hand on the turn and a heart in his hand.

Lhote Cracks Howe's Aces and Sends Him to the Rail

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Richard Howe and Joffrey Lhote had their cards face up on a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and it was Howe who was at risk for roughly 26,000 chips.

Joffrey Lhote: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Richard Howe: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Howe started the hand with the best possible two hole cards, pocket aces, but he was going to need to catch up after Lhote had flopped top two pairs. The turn was the {10-Clubs} giving Howe a gutshot straight draw but the river was the {6-Spades} and he was eliminated.

Hote won two tournaments in a single day on PMU poker which earned him a $50,000 sponsorship for the year.

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Mike Holm raised to 900 from early position, and was called by Jason Allen next to act. Mario Garza came along as well on the button, and the trio saw a {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop together. Holm bet 1,300, and both Allen and Garza called.

Everyone checked the {a-Diamonds} turn, and action checked to Garza on the {8-Spades} river. He bet 1,400, Holm called and Allen folded. Garza tabled {k-Spades}{q-Spades}, and Holm mucked, saying "Good hand, sir, good hand," as he did.

There was an open to 700 and Sean Getzwiller and Cheryl Naylor called behind, taking them three-handed to the {4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. The preflop aggressor check-folded to Getzwiller's 1,500 bet but Naylor called in position.

The turn fell the {8-Clubs} and it went check-check. On the {3-Clubs} river, Getzwiller check-folded to Naylor's 3,000 bet, showing {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Naylor obliged him by turning over {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for two pair.

Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
