Wang Folds to "Fibbing" Katz

Yong Wang had 65,000 in front of him and Cary Katz had moved all in for over 500,000.

"I got a big hand," said Katz.

"How big?" asked Wang.

"A big pair," replied Katz. "I'll show it to you."

Wang thought a bit more, used a time extension and then open-folded

"Ok it was a fib," said Katz tabling

"Oh wow," said tablemate Sam Grafton. "And the Oscar goes to!

"I got a big pair; I promise you," he continued, in a poor imitation of Katz. "Tears in your eyes like you don't want your kings cracked!"
