It’s time for one of the final events of the 2019 World Series of Poker, and one of the new and successful additional formats in 2019 - at least according to attendances - the Event #82: $1,500 Double Stack No-Limit Hold'em.
Joseph Cheong became a first-time WSOP bracelet winner in the $1,000-entry version of this event earlier in the 2019 WSOP and if this tournament apes that in any way, then it will have plenty of play as it features deep starting stacks of 50,000 chips and unlimited re-entry for 12 levels of play.
Play begins at 11 a.m. local time on Day 1, which will include 20 levels of play that are 30 minutes in length with a 20-minute break every four levels, which equals every two hours of play. Registration is open all the way up until the end of the dinner break that takes place after level 12 (approx. 6:55 p.m.) and players can re-enter any amount of times they want, as there is no cap on the number of entries.
This is scheduled to be a two day event with the accelerated blind format expected to make the action go very quickly, so make sure to stay tuned to PokerNews for all the updates as they fly in, as no-limit hold'em lovers have one of their last chances to take down a 2019 WSOP bracelet.
