Glaser Pressures Lee

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Preston Lee checked from the third position on a flop of {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Benny Glaser fired 5,200 into about 15,000-pot. Lee called.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} and Lee checked again. Glaser scanned Lee's remaining stack, seeing that Lee had under 17,000 left. He threw in 20,000 to cover Lee's belongings but Lee wasn't interested to risk his tournament life.

The {a-Hearts} turn saw Friedman check from the big and Moshe fired 4,000 from the hijack. Vonk folded on his left but Friedman called to see the river.

It fell {7-Spades} and Friedman let Moshe fire another 12,000. Friedman folded.

Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

Niall Farrell ended up all in on the {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, holding {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}, but he threw his cards away upon seeing Foster Hays turn over {8-Spades}{6-Spades} for trips.

Farrell could still hope for an ace on the river, but he wouldn't get one as the {7-Hearts} sealed his elimination.

Friedman Happy to Chop

Nível 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

From small blind, Perry Friedman bet 6,000 into about 9,000-pot with the action on the river reading {10-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Asi Moshe was in middle position and he slid forward enough chips to put Friedman all-in. Friedman had around 60,000 and didn't like his situation.

"We're probably chopping," Moshe said, laughing.

"So you have ace-king?" Friedman suspected the worst.

Then he said, "I call," and Moshe showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} to chop with Friedman's {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}.

Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Julien Martini (small blind) had 7,200 in front of him when the action was picked up. Takahiro Nakai shoved for 29,000 from middle position and Martini checked his own stack, then called.

Nakai: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Martini: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
