Donoghue Takes From Brown

Nível 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts} Kenneth Donoghue bet and was raised by Andrew Brown. Donoghue called. The turn was the {9-Spades}. Brown bet and Donoghue called. The river came the {9-Diamonds}. Brown bet again and Donoghue put his hand out with chips as if he was going to call but paused for about ten seconds before releasing the chips for the call.

Brown turned over the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for top pair but was out-kicked as Donoghue showed the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and took in the pot.

Quads for Donoghue

Nível 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

On a board that read {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} Kenneth Donoghue bet. Eric Wasserson was deeply indecisive over the bet and held his cards up and played with them while thinking. He bent the corner of one of the cards before tossing them into the muck for a frustrated fold.

Donoghue assuaged his unease though as he showed {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for flopped quads, assuring Wasserson that he indeed had made the correct fold.

Painter and Akkari Both Brick

Nível 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Jameson Painter opened for a raise in the cutoff and Andre Akkari three-bet in the small blind. Painter called and the board ran out {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{j-Spades} with Painter calling flop and turn bets. Both checked on the river and Akkari opened {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Painter also bricked out but his {a-Spades}{9-Spades} was a winner.

Arieh Gets Paid with Top Pair

Nível 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Josh Arieh bet on a flop of {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades} and was called. The turn was the {2-Clubs}, Arieh bet again and was called. The river came the {10-Clubs}. Once more Arieh bet and got a call after some hesitation.

Arieh revealed {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} which was good enough to take down the pot.

Henson Busted

Nível 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Ray Henson got the three-bet in preflop and then called a four-bet from Daniel Demicki, then got his remaining crumbs in on {q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} with {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. Unfortunately for Henson, he'd taken a beat for the moment against {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The turn was a {2-Spades} and the river an {a-Spades} and Henson headed for the exit.
