Preben Stokkan

Gustavo Mastelotto raised to 15,000 from the hijack and Sai Chiu called from the cutoff. Small blind Preben Stokkan put his last 12,500 in the middle.

The flop fell {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and both players with chips left checked their option. The turn was the {10-Spades} and Mastelotto put in a bet but Chiu folded before the chips were in the middle.

Stokkan then opened {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a full house and he was ahead of the {a-}{8-Spades} of Mastelotto.

The river was the {q-Diamonds} and Stokkan managed to triple up.

Trincher Eliminated by Tardif

Nível 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The completed board was down {2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and with 110,000 in the middle, Illya Trincher checked from the big blind.

Patrick Tardif was the final player left to act and sat silently for a minute before he announced all in for 130,000. Tardif just had Trincher covered and the latter needed time to make his decision with his tournament life on the line if he called.

But after close to a minute, Trincher decided to take the risk and threw a single calling chip into the middle.

Tardif flipped {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a wheel, and Trincher stood from the table to depart before showing {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.
