The 2019 World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event is just a few days away and all poker enthusiasts that haven't qualified yet or don't have the bankroll to take a shot at the most prestigious poker tournament of the year have another shot at glory in the lower buy-in version.
For the first time, Event #69: $1,000 Mini Main Event will take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, giving players the chance at a coveted gold bracelet within two days. The tournament will kick off at 11 a.m. local time and Day 1 will feature a total of 20 levels of 30 minutes each.
All participants of the Mini Main receive 60,000 in chips and the late registration is available until the start of level 13. There will be a 75-minute dinner break at the end of level 12 at approximately 5.40 p.m. local time and once the cards are back in the air at ≈ 6.55 p.m. local time, the registration will officially close.

Most likely, all tournament rooms will be used at the start of the day and a big field is expected. Unlike other low stake buy-in events, there will be no re-entry available for this tournament and it is a one shot only. Furthermore, the new popular big blind ante will be used for the entire duration of the event.
The Day 1 survivors will return the following day at noon to play down to a champion, however, depending on the number of entries, an additional tournament day may be required to play down to a winner.

Tournament staff has instructed all dealers and players about the schedule of the day and the cards are officially in the air. All stacks are out, which means all seats are sold in a field that already includes more than 3,100 entries right from the bat. The tournament is currently played in the entire Amazon, Pavilion, Brasilia, and Miranda room. Furthermore, the poker room of the Rio and nearby section also seems to be in play.

"Seat open on table 504," the dealer announced and indeed the four seat was empty after not even three minutes played and 300 big blinds vanished in thin air. "He flopped a boat, and higher boat came on the river," one player said, then asked "you actually know the guy?"
Benjamin Burden replied "yeah, I know him from Utah, funny that we sat next to each other." So who had busted? It was Ryan Coon that likely became the first casualty of many thousands of the day as Ian Searing soared to a double stack right away.

Cindy Kerslake knows how to navigate in big fields as the Canadian just finished 46th in The COLOSSUS and she can be found in the Amazon orange section. In an early hand she check-called a bet of 600 on the flop before the
turn was checked. On the
river, Kerslake checked once more and folded when facing a bet of 2,200.
