After three tournament days, Event #63: $1,500 Omaha Mix has been whittled down to the final four out of a field of 717 entries and action is set to resume at 2 p.m. local time to determine the latest champion at the 2019 World Series of Poker.
The lion's share of the $967,950 prizepool is still up for grabs and Yueqi Zhu will aim for back-to-back titles in this event, entering the final day second in chips with 2,735,000. One year ago, Zhu claimed his maiden bracelet after overcoming a 773-entry field and he also finished 6th in this tournament when it took place for the first time in 2017.
Leading the field into the final day is Russia's Anatolii Zyrin, who dominated the late stages of Day 3 to bag up 3,330,000. Zyrin came close to victory this summer already when he finished 2nd in Event #17 $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout and will try to finish one spot higher when the final river card has been dealt.
Frenchman [Removed:146] (1,960,000) and WSOP bracelet winner James Van Alstyne (585,000) complete the line-up for the final day and will take their seats in the Amazon Gold section of the Rio.
