Plan of Action

Nível 29 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

The floor has confirmed that the plan for the rest of tonight is to play through level 30 and stop no matter how many players remain at that point. The remaining players will then return to action tomorrow.

Burt Scoops One from Abrams

Nível 29 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Rodney Burt
Rodney Burt

Scott Abrams and Rodney Burt saw a flop of {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Abrams led out with a bet of 325,000 which Burt called. The turn was the {10-Diamonds}. Both players tentatively checked. The river was the {9-Spades}. Abrams checked again and Burt removed his sunglasses and stared down Abrams for a few moments before saying check.

Burt tabled {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} which had Abrams hand, which was whisked away, beat and he scooped up the pot.

Drinan Pulls Some Back

Nível 29 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Chip leader Scott Abrams opened under the gun to 250,000. It folded round to Connor Drinan on the cutoff and he called, as did Jordan Spurlin in the big blind.

There was no betting on the {8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop. On the {k-Hearts} turn, it checked to Drinan again and he bet 800,000, which was effectively his all in. The bet garnered quick folds from both of his opponents and he's added some much-needed chips to his stack.

Burt and Spurlin Chop Up "Dramatic" Pot

Nível 29 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Action was docile in a hand featuring Jordan Spurlin and Rodney Burt up until the turn where things suddenly exploded into action. The board read {8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} Spurlin bet 350,000 which Bart met with a large raise to 1,725,000, Spurlin called.

The river was the {5-Diamonds}. Burt moved all in and Spurlin quickly called. The pot would be split however as Spurlin revealed the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Burt showed the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} and the chips made their way back to the safety of their original chip stacks.

Zinno Pumps it Up

Nível 29 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Jordan Spurlin has continued to be active preflop and opened to 225,000 in early position. He found two callers, Thomas Schropfer in the small blind and Anthony Zinno in the big.

The flop read {3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and it was checked to the {9-Diamonds} turn. Schropfer lead for 150,000 and was met by a hefty 1,000,000 three-bet by Zinno. It was enough to convince both his opponents to fold.

More of the Same

Nível 30 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

For a moment it looked like there could be a double up or an elimination after Connor Drinan opened to 240,000 and was three-bet by Jordan Spurlin, who made it 700,000 to play. Erik Seidel didn't want to be left out and cold four-bet all in for a total of 1,130,000. Drinan passed but the price was right for Spurlin.

Spurlin turned over {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Seidel tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. The flop brought out the {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, giving both players the wheel straight and when the {9-Hearts} and {8-Spades} completed the board, they chopped it up.
