No-Limit Hold'em

Seiver Picks Off Smith

Nível 7 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Two no-limit hold'em heavyweights tangled in a sizeable pot as Dan Smith and Scott Seiver came to the river of the {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} board with around 100,000 in the middle.

Smith, sitting in the hijack, acted first and he paused for a while before announcing a bet of 116,000. Seiver wasn't happy to see that but he was still able to call within 30 seconds.

"Nothing," Smith said and Seiver tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} to take it down and significantly boost his stack.

Deeb and Negreanu Tangling; Negreanu Eliminated Shortly Thereafter

Nível 7 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Limit Hold'em

Picking up the action on the turn of a {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} board, Daniel Negreanu bet from under the gun and Shaun Deeb raised from the cutoff. Negreanu called and both checked the {k-Clubs} river.

Negreanu showed {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for tens and sixes, but Deeb tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for queens and sixes to win the pot.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Negreanu limped from the small blind, Deeb raised from the big blind and Negreanu called.

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Negreanu committed his remaining 7,000-ish with {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, trailing Deeb's {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

The {8-Clubs} turn and {a-Spades} river completed the board, giving Negreanu trip aces to double through Deeb.

However, just a few hands later, Negreanu was eliminated.

A Few Folds On Final Draws

Nível 7 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Jake Schwartz opened from the hijack and action folded to Chris Vitch who defended his big blind. Each drew two cards and then checked. Second draws again went two and two and Vitch checked. Schwartz bet, Vitch put in a check-raise, and Schwartz made it three bets. After a few moments, Vitch called.

Each player stood pat on the final draw and Vitch checked again. Schwartz fired and Vitch thought for a few seconds again before letting his hand go.

On the following hand, Brian Rast opened from the button and Vitch three-bet from the small blind. Rast called and both players drew two. Vitch made a continuation-bet and Rast called.

Vitch stood pat on the second draw and Rast traded two. He fired again afterward and Rast called. Final draws went pat and one and Vitch bet again. After about two minutes, Rast folded and Vitch took down the pot.
