More For Ashton

Nível 2 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Michael Mizrachi raised in the cutoff, and Dan Cates three-bet in the small blind. Matthew Ashton called in the big blind, and Mizrachi called as well.

Cates bet the {3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop, and Ashton and Mizrachi both called. Cates fired again on the {3-Hearts} turn, and only Ashton called. Cates checked the {3-Clubs} river, and Ashton bet.

"Well, this really sucks," Cates said before calling.

Ashton tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a full house, and Cates mucked.

Obst Catches Esposito Bluffing

Nível 2 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Stud

John Esposito was showing a pair of fives on sixth when he bet into James Obst.

John Esposito: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts}
James Obst: {x-}{x-}/{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Obst tanked awhile and called. The river arrived and Esposito fired again. Obst looked lost in thought for around a minute before he put in a call. Esposito shook his head and showed {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a missed flush draw. Obst won it with {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for tens.

Both players checked the {6-Hearts} turn, and Oppenheim checked the {9-Diamonds} river. Wood bet 8,000, and Oppenheim tanked for a minute before placing a single chip in the pot to call. Wood tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for the nut flush, and Oppenheim mucked.

Ivey Drops Two

Nível 1 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Stud Hi-Lo

Phil Ivey was tanking facing a bet on the end from Eli Elezra. Both players had formidable boards.

Phil Ivey: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}
Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs} / {x-}

Ivey dropped in calling chips and Elezra announced aces full, tabling {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Ivey slowly mucked.

2-7 Triple Draw

Then, Ivey raised on the button and Phil Hui defended big blind. Hui took two and Ivey three and Hui tossed in a bet when he saw he was ahead in the draw. Ivey called. Both players improved by one and Hui bet again. Ivey raised this time. Hui three-bet it and Ivey called.

Hui patted and checked, with Ivey needing one. Ivey checked it back and couldn't beat {10-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.
