Three Pair for Guagenti

Nível 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

Nick Guagenti put one of the players at his table at risk for only a little over one big bet. Guagenti had {a-}{7-}{6-} and his opponent had {a-}{9-}{4-}.

His opponent ended up with a seventy-six after his cards landed {5-}{6-}{7-}{q-}. Guagenti had some catching up to do when he was dealt {3-}{a-}{6-}. The {7-} on seventh gave him three pair and that didn't help him to eliminate his opponent.

Michael Gathy managed to score a knock-out. He eliminated a player from the tournament who was all-in before third street. Two other players went to fourth street but Gathy pushed them out of the pot on fifth.

Michael Gathy: {8-}{7-} / {5-}{9-}{9-}{2-} / {k-}
Opponent: {a-}{10-}{4-} / {q-}{8-}{6-}{6-}

Gathy scooped the pot and the Belgian bracelet winner is starting to chip up a little bit.

Ryan Laplante: {x-}{x-} / {6-}{8-}{k-}{10-} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {8-}{2-}{q-}{10-} / {x-}

Ryan Laplante went three-way to fourth street and he was the only one that called the bet from his opponent. Laplante kept on calling every single street except for seventh where he opted to fold.

Laplante is left with 8,400 which is a little over ten big bets and about two-thirds of the starting of 12,000.

Bronshtein Can't Eliminate Bertrand

Nível 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

Yuval Bronshtein, Michelle Bertrand, and two other players went to fourth street and Bertrand was all in and at risk of elimination. Bronshtein was the only player left after he bet on fourth and they opened up.

Michelle Bertrand: {k-}{4-}{5-}{7-}{7-}{6-}
Yuval Bronshtein: {5-}{a-}{4-}{3-}{4-}{j-}

Bertrand needed to hit a card lower than a ten and Bronshtein needed to pair up or catch a card higher than a jack for Bertrand to stay alive.

Bertrand caught the {3-} and Bronshtein still had plenty of outs. He didn't get there when he was dealt a {j-} and the pot was pushed to Bertrand.

Straight Flush for Dakake

Nível 4 : 300/600, 0 ante

Mistakes were made and one player accidentally opened up their hand while there was still action pending in a heads-up pot. Todd Dakake was involved and they checked on the next street.

He won the pot with a bet on fifth and he showed {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a straight flush when he dragged in the pot.
