The final table of Event #52: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship will play down to a winner today, awarding one of eight accomplished players a WSOP bracelet (in the case of Jeremy Ausmus and Will Jaffe, a second).

Seeing off the majority of the 50 Day 3 combatants in this 518-entry event yesterday, these final eight played ten one-hour levels to find themselves within hailing distance of WSOP gold, in one of the toughest events of the summer:

Dudley has warmed up for the PLO Championship with two cashes in this poker variant already this year (Event #25 and Event #40) and is looking for his first bracelet this afternoon.

Along with the WSOP jewelry comes top prize of $1,086,967, the heftiest chunk of an overall prize pool totaling $4,869,200. A total of 78 players have been/will be paid, with a minimum cash worth $15,029.

Will Jaffe Eliminated in 8th Place ($94,380)

Final table action commenced with an off the bat all-in-and-call, in a hand that started with a 200,000 limp from Joel Feldman, then a pot raise from Will Jaffe on the button, Fledman three-betting and Jaffe calling all in.

Jaffe: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Feldman: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The big pair match-up faded into insignificance on the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop. It would be well nigh impossible for Jaffe to win this hand from here, and totally impossible once the turn came the {9-Spades} (the river the {6-Hearts}).

Andrey Razov Eliminated in 7th Place ($125,215)

Andrey Razov

Andrey Razov raised the pot to 700,000 with 215,000 from under the gun and Dash Dudley three-bet from two seats over. All other players got out of the way and Razov called all in to create the third all in showdown of the day.

Andrey Razov: {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Dash Dudley: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Both players flopped a pair on {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Dudley improved to two pair on the {a-Hearts} turn. Razov needed a jack to chop or a nine to double, but instead Dudley further improved to a full house with the {a-Clubs} river to reduce the field to the final six.

Razov takes home $125,215 for his efforts.

Eoghan O'Dea Eliminated in 6th Place ($169,173)

Nível 33 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante
Eoghan O Dea
Eoghan O Dea

In the very first hand after coming back from the break, Eoghan O'Dea raised the pot to 1,050,000 and Jeremy Ausmus three-bet the pot to 3,600,000 in the cutoff. O'Dea eventually stuck his stack in and Ausmus called for very few chips more.

Eoghan O'Dea: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Jeremy Ausmus: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop was a disaster for O'Dea, as his king would give Ausmus a straight and he was already in need of running cards to avoid the elimination. It was all over after the {7-Hearts} turn and he stood up, grabbed his belongings and shook hands with all remaining finalists while the meaningless {10-Hearts} came on the river.

O'Dea finished 6th in this very event two years ago and does so again in the 2019 edition, receiving $169,173 for his efforts.

Kyle Montgomery Eliminated in 5th Place ($232,680)

Kyle Montgomery

Out of the small blind, Kyle Montgomery raised the pot and James Park three-bet the pot to 2,700,000. Montgomery moved all in for 3,300,000 and Park called.

Kyle Montgomery: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
James Park: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop was a bad one for Montgomery, as he needed running outs. One of them was the {10-Spades} turn, giving Montgomery a gutshot straight draw. However, the {10-Hearts} river bricked off and Montgomery had to settle for 5th place and a payday of $232,680.

Jeremy Ausmus Eliminated in 4th Place ($325,693)

Jeremy Ausmus

Jeremy Ausmus raised to 1,000,000 in the cutoff and Dash Dudley called on the button, only for James Park to three-bet the pot to 4,200,000 out of the big blind. Ausmus called with 775,000 behind and Dudley reluctantly folded.

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Park check-called the shove of Ausmus and they turned over their cards.

Jeremy Ausmus: {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}
James Park: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}

The wrap of Ausmus was favorite as neither player had a club, however, the {k-Clubs} turn and {q-Spades} river run out failed to improve Ausmus and he was sent to the rail in 4th place for $325,693. Park jumped into the lead but it is anybody's game still with stack sizes of 35, 24 and 17 big blinds.

Dudley Doubles Through Park

Nível 34 : 200,000/400,000, 0 ante
Dash Dudley rail
Dash Dudley rail

James Park limped in from the small blind and Dash Dudley checked in the big blind, delivering a flop of {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Park checked over to Dudley, who bet 500,000, and Park came along to see the {a-Clubs} on the turn. Park now led for 1,100,000 and Dudley folded.

Park limped in one orbit later again and Dudley checked once more. This time, Park bet the {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop for 400,000 and Dudley called to head to the {8-Clubs} turn. Park checked over to Dudley, who fired a bet of 700,000 with around 2,100,000 behind. Park made the call to create a pot of 3,000,000 to the {7-Clubs} river.

A check by park prompted the shove of Dudley for 2,125,000 and Park asked for a count, grabbed calling chips and studied the board and his opponent. One minute and some table chat followed and Park made the call with {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for trips treys. Dudley had that beat with {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for trips eights and his rail started cheering as their favorite doubled back into contention.

Dudley Doubles, Feldman Nearly Felted

Nível 35 : 250,000/500,000, 0 ante

Dash Dudley

Joel Feldman raised to 1,000,000 on the button, three-bet to 3,200,000 by big blind Dash Dudley. Back to Feldman, who in a trice had re-popped it, Dudley calling - this pot effectively setting both players at risk for their tournament lives.

Dudley: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}
Feldman: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The flop looked good for the suited aces: {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}; the {q-Hearts} brought some broadway outs for Feldman but the river {6-Spades} gave Dudley the pot, and a stack surpassing Park's. His rail, ecstatic, roared their approval.

Joel Feldman Eliminated in 3rd Place ($463,814)

Nível 35 : 250,000/500,000, 0 ante
Joel Feldman
Joel Feldman

After a few small pots, Feldman, still short, potted it from the small blind, intentions clear. Big blind Park set him in and he made the call with a pair of aces, single suited:

Feldman: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Park: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Feldman stayed in front on the {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, and had his opponent drawing to two outs after the {j-Diamonds} turn. Unfortunately for him, one of them - the {10-Hearts} - was dealt on the river sending Feldman to the rail (via the cash desk, where nearly half a million dollars in prize money awaits).

James Park Eliminated in 2nd Place ($671,802)

James Park

James Park raised the next hand to 600,000 and Dudley potted to 3,600,000. Park now carefully cut out his remaining stack and made the call to go to the {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. Dudley bet the pot to put Park at risk, who shook his head with 5,875,000 behind. Eventually, the Brit made the call after around two minutes of consideration.

Dash Dudley: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
James Park: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}

Park was in need of help, but found none on the {a-Hearts} turn and {10-Diamonds} river run out to bow out in 2nd place. It is the third Pot-Limit Omaha cash for the Brit at the WSOP and comes with a hefty payday of $671,802. Dudley, who was supported by a boisterous rail, claims his first bracelet and top prize of $1,086,967.
