Benyamine Triples Before Break

Wolff and Hang peeled one again and Benyamine stood pat.

Hang fired and Benyamine called all in, having exactly one big bet left. Wolff folded and Benyamine scooped the pot as he showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}. Hang's cards ended in the muck.

Ospina Busts Johnson

Marco Johnson raised under the gun, Daniel Ospina three-bet from the big blind and they got it in for Johnson's last 22,500.

Both players started with a one-card draw but Ospina hit what he needed on the first draw.

Johnson kept drawing to the end and Ospina rolled over {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}. Johnson could still squeeze a double with {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} but he peeled a {2-}.

Katz Folds an Eight-Seven

Cary Katz limped his button, Hanh Tran raised from the big blind and Katz called.

Tran took one, Katz drew two, Tran bet and Katz called.

Both took one, Tran bet and Katz called.

Both stood pat, Tran bet and Katz thought for a bit before he open folded an eight-seven. Tran tossed his cards to Katz who took a peek and was happy with his decision to fold.

"Good fold, but only one hand left now," said Katz.

Johnson Left with Two Big Bets

Ospina drew two, Johnson one and Ospina check-called.

Both pitched one and Ospina led out. Johnson called.

Ospina stood pat and Johnson peeled one. They checked and Ospina turned up an eighty-seven. Johnson flipped a pair of fours and continued with last 22,500.

Zhu peeled one, Becker two, and Benson took two. They checked and repeated their draw.

Zhu led out, Becker raised and Benson was tempted to call. However, he eventually let his hand go. Zhu called.

Zhu drew one, Becker stood pat and Zhu checked to Becker who fired. Zhu threw in calling chips and Becker tapped the felt with his cards while sending them into the muck.

Zhu exposed {a-}{8-}{7-}{5-}{2-} to show that he wasn't scared to call with an ace.
