Kempe Doubles to Second in Chips

Nível 37 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ashish Ahuja, involved in few pots so far on this final table, had a stab at a flop by making up the full 600,000 from the small blind, but folded his hand when Matsuzuki raised the pot (1,800,000).

The next hand, Daniel Moravec, having kept a firm grip on his early triple up chips, opened to 2,100,000, called by Rainer Kempe in the big blind. The flop of {5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} saw Kempe check-raise all in for a couple of hundred thousand more than Moravec's 4,500,000 bet, an offer he couldn't refuse.

Moravec: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Kempe: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Kempe's club flush materialised on the {8-Clubs} turn, the river {10-Hearts} bringing a useless broadway straight for Moravec, whose stack drops into the danger zone of four big blinds.

No Flops During Last NLHE Hands

Nível 37 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Still in the previous level, Dan Matsuzuki raised to 1,300,000 from middle position and everyone folded. It was followed by a shove from Raghav Bansal on the button to 6,800,000 which received no resistance as well. He showed the {a-Spades}. The blinds moved up to 300,000/600,000 after this hand.

With the bigger blinds, Daniel Moravec raised to 1,350,000 on the button and picked up the blinds and ante as well. Stephen Ma was up next on the button and he shoved all in for 5,000,000 after folded to him. Once again, no calls, and the players swapped back to PLO.

Ma and Bansal Shove Uncalled; Matsuzuki Checks Top Pair Until Kempe Bets It

Nível 36 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Stephen Ma moved in on the cutoff as the game swapped back to Hold'em for 5,280,000, absorbing the 1,250,000 now sitting in every pot into a stack that was starting to near the felt.

Adam Lamphere was back in preflop raise mode the next hand, making it 1,150,000 to play. Dan Matsuzuki made the call in the small blind, as did big blind Rainer Kempe.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. No bets down the streets meant a free {6-Clubs} and {8-Spades} to complete the board. Matsuzuki checked, Kempe bet 2,250,000 and Matsuzuki alone made the call with a winning hand {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Kempe showed down {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Raghav Bansal picked his spot for a shove - a three-bet to 5,250,000 over a raise from Dan Matsuzuki (to 1,100,000) - and got it through.

Final Hands in PLO; Ahuja Takes from Lamphere

Nível 36 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ashish Ahuja raised to 1,230,000 second to act and won the hand. The next hand, Raghav Bansal potted it to 1,750,000 from the cutoff and the blinds folded.

Adam Lamphere then limped the small blind and Ahuja checked. Lamphere bet 575,000 on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and Ahuja called. On the turn {j-Diamonds} Lamphere check-folded to a 1,400,000 bet from Ahuja. The game switched back to No-Limit Hold'em.

First PLO Round: the Adam Lamphere Show

Pot-Limit Omaha

All change: the number of hole cards doubled, the finalists returned to snuggish play. Daniel Moravec raised the first PLO hand of the final to 1,200,000 and took it down. Lamphere raised to 1,280,000 on the second with the same result.

The third hand saw some face-up cards: Lamphere raised again, this time to 1,200,000, Aris Moschonas called. On the flop of {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} Moschonas check-folded to a 975,000 continue from Lamphere.

Lamphere, relentless in the first PLO round of the day, opened the next pot too, for 1,280,000. Rainer Kempe three-bet to 4,580,000 and Lamphere decided not to contest this one further, but was back in the saddle the very next hand, opening to 1,250,000 preflop; no callers.

Last Hands of NLHE; Kempe Shoves

Nível 36 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Stephen Ma raised to 900,000 from under the gun and after a round of folds, Daniel Moravec called from the big blind. The flop was {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Moravec checked. Ma bet 750,000 and Moravec folded.

The blinds then moved up and in the first hand of the new level, Aris Moschonas raised to 1,050,000 and Ma defended the big blind. The flop was {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Moschonas' bet of 500,000 won the hand. Moravec won the next hand with a raise to 1,200,000 on the button.

In the final of four hands, Rainer Kempe shoved second to act all in for 7,000,000. The game then switched to Pot-Limit Omaha.

Double for Moravec on Hand Three

Nível 35 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

With a million in the pot in blinds and antes every hand, even the smallest pots won with a single raise or limp-checked to a river are worth a considerable stack boost.

Matsuzuki took the first one, with a bet on an {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop. Adam Lamphere, the second with a raise to 875,000 in mid position.

Moravec then moved all-in preflop first to act for 2,950,000, about to be hit by the prior-mentioned blinds and ante. Two seats along, chip leader Lamphere made the call, and it folded round to big blind Raghav Bansal, who shoved over the top for a total of 8,900,000. Lamphere shook his head, declining the invitation to put two other finalists at risk, and folded his hand.

Moravec: {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Bansal: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The flop brought a pair for Moravec ({q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}) and the turn and river {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} were no help for ace-king. Due to the preflop interest of Lamphere, Moravec enjoyed a triple up and is back in the game.

Shuffle Up and Deal

Nível 35 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

The final table's battle for a bracelet begins with the first card of No-Limit Hold'em leaving the top of the deck. Blinds remain 200,000/400,000/400,000.
