Merda Scoops Large Pot, Busts Opponent
In a four-way pot with the board reading 
, Meir Avigal, who was one of the big stacks in the early stages of the tournament, put out a bet of 2,700 from the big blind. He got a call from the second player to act in middle position. Igor Merda then raised to 8,200, which folded out the fourth player in the hand in the small blind.
Avigal called Merda's raise and the player in middle position re-popped it for the rest of his stack, which was for 12,800. Getting a good price, Merda and Avigal both called the all in.
The river came the 
. Avigal checked it over to Merda who then moved all in himself for his remaining 27,000. Avigal shook his head and looked aggravated before reluctantly giving it up.
