when the small blind bet 600 and was called by the big blind. Adrian Thomas raised it to 1,400 and it folded to Antonio Barbato who reraised to 5,000. The players in the blinds folded and Thomas called.

Kathy Holz, who recently finished in an impressive 13th place out of 28,371 entries in the largest-ever poker tournament, Event #3: Big 50 - $500 No-Limit Hold'em, was back at the tables in Day 1b of this event. Holz, from Belvidere, IL, was already off to a blistering start, with a chipstack that currently sits at 110,000, almost triple the starting stack. It remains to be seen if she can parlay this early big stack into another deep run.
