Welcome to Day 2 of the PokerNews coverage in Event #34: $1,000 Double Stack No-Limit Hold'em. This event had drawn in a solid amount of players on Day 1a and Day 1b received an even bigger crowd for a total amount of 6,214 entries. 1,100 from Day 1a advanced as well as 1,227 from Day 1b, for a total of 2,327 players progressing to Day 2.

This event will resume in level 12, blinds being 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 big blind ante. The remaining players will play a total of 10 levels, with a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute break after the 6th level (approximately 6:30 p.m.).
