Wilcke Turns The World, Gets Monster Double Up

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Erik Wilcke just won a hand that catapulted him to the current chip lead. All the chips were in the middle after the turn with the board showing {j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

Wilcke {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} turned a set of fives then rivered a full house while his opponent {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flopped top pair with a broadway draw and Wickle got paid off big.

Zedan Calls The Clock

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Erik Wilcke opened with a raise to 55,000 and action folded around to the small blind player who called. Action was now on Luis Zedan who three-bet to 180,000 and both of his opponents called.

Zedan announced "all-in" out of turn after the flop of {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and after the small blind checked, Zedan moved the final 367,000 of his stack in the middle. Wilcke quickly folded and action was back to the small blind player. Zedan's opponent took roughly four-minutes before Zedan called the floor over for a clock. It took the whole 30-second count down before Zedan's opponent finally folded and Zedan raked in the pot.

Fishman Flops Huge, Sends Wachtel Home

Nível 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

There was a pot around 350,000 sitting beside a {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} board when Nathaniel Wachtel moved his remaining 275,000 into the middle.

Ken Fishman snap-called and Wachtel turned over {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for two pair. Wachtel would be drawing dead when Fishman tabled {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a flopped full house.

Fishman scooped in the pot, eliminating Wachtel from the tournament and moving over the one million mark for the first time today.

Morgenstern Takes Down Another

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

David Halpern opened with a raise to 65,000 from the cutoff, he was called by Dan Martin and Anton Morgenstern from the small and big blinds.

The flop of {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} was checked around and Martin fired out 100,000 after the dealer burned and turned the {8-Hearts}. Morgenstern called while Halpern got out of the way.

The {7-Clubs} river was checked to Morgenstern who fired out 300,000 and that was enough to get Martin to fold.
