Sabe Gets Paid

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

The action began with Mathew Berenson limping in late position, Nathaniel Dalbec limped behind and Ryan Mcknight raised to 1,000 from the small blind. Joseph Sabe called from the big blind and both limpers came along.

All four players checked through to the river on a board of {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}, Mcknight checked once again, and Sabe fired out 3,000. Berenson thought it over for 30-seconds and called. Dalbec and Mcknight folded and Sabe showed {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a straight and Berenson's cards hit the muck.

Kovalchuk Wins Massive Pot

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

All the money went in three ways on the flop of {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

Maxim Kovalchuk: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}
Button: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Big blind: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}

Kovalchuk was ahead with a set of kings, and the {q-Clubs} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river changed nothing, giving Kovalchuk a very good pot and eliminating two opponents.
