In the last hand before the break, Ron Ware called bets on fifth to seventh and his opponent had paired his king and five. Ware had a seven-six and scooped the pot to get back above the starting stack.
One table over, Robert Campbell was about to sit down at the same table as Nick Guagenti but was then reminded of the manual seating. Whether or not that will be at the same table he was going to remains to be seen.
Hold'em
Chris Hunichen raised and was called by Eric Kurtzman in the cutoff and Jason Somerville in the small blind, who had just taken a seat. The flop came 
and Somerville checked, Hunichen bet and picked up two calls. On the 
turn, action checked to Kurtzman and his bet claimed the pot right there.
Omaha Hi-Lo
The game type switched to Omaha Hi-Lo and Hunichen defended out of the big blind against Somerville. Hunichen bet the 
turn and the 
river. Somerville called the first bet and folded to the final bet. Despite picking up this pot, Hunichen remains among the shortest stacks right now with less than half the starting stack.

Eric Kurtzman and Andrey Zaichenko started well into the day and both just clashed in a Stud Hi-Lo hand. Zaichenko made it three bets on sixth and Kurtzman called before both invested one further bet on seventh. Kurtzman showed 
for a set of kings and Zaichenko had 
for a low and missed gutshot.
"Obviously you can't slow down," Kurtzman said to Zaichenko while they stacked their chips.
Nicholas Seiken, Aron Dermer, Mike Ross, Frank Kassela and Viacheslav Zhukov have all jumped into the action and the field has grown to 80 entries mid-way through the second level.

Shawn Buchanan completed and Ylon Schwartz raised, which Carol Fuchs and Buchanan called. Schwartz ended up betting each street to pick up calls from both Fuchs and Buchanan until sixth. A final bet on seventh was enough for Schwartz to claim the pot without showdown, as Fuchs and Buchanan folded.

Picking up the action on fifth street, Scott Bohlman bet and was check-called by Adam Owen and Andrey Zaichenko. Bohlman also bet sixth to receive two check-calls before Owen check-folded seventh when facing another bet by Bohlman. Zaichenko quickly check-called and Bohlman rolled over 
for a low, while Zaichenko had the for trips fours.
Omaha Hi-Lo
Ylon Schwartz raised first to act and was called four ways including Timothy Marsters, Motohiro Kondo in the cutoff, the button and Andrew Barber in the big blind. On the flop it was Marters that bet and Kondo as well as the button called, the action then repeated on the 
turn. Marsters also bet the 
river and Kondo raised, forcing a fold from the button.
"I call, I guess," Marsters shrugged and Kondo flipped over 
for kings full.
