Chip Count Update

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With the bubble looming, here is another update for stacks around the room.

Big Slick Good To Beebe

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Bret Beebe was just all in preflop from the big blind for 53,500 with {a-}{k-} against his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} from the cutoff.

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Beebe secured the double up, bringing his stack to around average with less than 50 players needing to bust out before the bubble bursts.

A player raised all in from under the gun for 30,000 and action folded around to Phil Hellmuth, who announced he was all in for around 77,000. The players in the blinds folded and both players were off to the races.

Phil Hellmuth: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Opponent: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, securing the knockout for Hellmuth. "Ah, the queen! Nice hand, Phil!" said his opponent as he got up from his seat. Hellmuth was silent as he raked in the pot.

End of Level 13 Chip Counts

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With around 100 eliminations remaining until the tournament is in the money, here are some more chip counts from around the room.

Updated Chip Counts

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The tournament clock displays 540 players remaining as the last two hours of play are solidly underway.

Massey Eliminated By Williams

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Aaron Massey was just seen leaving his seat and exiting the tournament room. According to Jon Williams, Massey raised from middle position to 5,500 and Williams three-bet all in for 58,800 from the big blind. Massey called off his remaining 50,000 or so chips and the two were off to the races.

Aaron Massey: {a-}{j-}
Jon Williams: {k-}{q-}

The {k-}{x-}{x-} flop came in Williams' favor and while the {j-} turn gave Massey more outs for the double up, the river came a brick and the dealer sent the pot Williams' way.

Affleck Coolered

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

According to another player at the table, Matt Affleck just got mountains of chips all in preflop with {k-}{k-} against {a-}{k-} and did not end up holding. After spending most of the day near the top of the leaderboard, he now finds himself with a below average stack going into the final break of the night.
