Roberts Takes Lehr Out

Nível 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Brent Roberts raised to 16,000 from the cutoff and Keith Lehr shoved from the big blind. Roberts flicked in his bounty chip for the call so the cards could go on their backs.

Keith Lehr: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Brent Roberts: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came {5-Spades}{a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for Roberts to pick up the gutshot to a Broadway plus the spade draw.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} to give Roberts the Broadway indeed and only a king could save Lehr as they would then split the pot.

The river completed the board with the {a-Diamonds} for Lehr's fate to be determined as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Sinclair Takes Two Out

Nível 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Jack Sinclair raised from mid-position and Mike Del Vecchio went all in for his last 5,000 in the cutoff. Dan Zack and Roy Upshaw both called in the blinds so they would play for the side pot of 15,000.

The flop came {3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, Zack and Upshaw both checked, Sinclair bet 10,000, Zack quickly folded and Upshaw put in chips but more than the bet so the floor was called over and Upshaw had to go all-in for his last 19,000. Sinclair quickly called.

Mike Del Vecchio: {k-Spades}{7-Spades}
Roy Upshaw: {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Jack Sinclair: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Upshaw had flopped a pair of treys, Sinclair had ace-high while Del Vecchio needed a lot more help to stay alive.

The rest of the board was completed with the {a-Diamonds} on the turn to give Sinclair a pair of aces and the {q-Hearts} on the river to seal the deal.

David Benyamine
David Benyamine

The under-the-gun player shoved all in for 30,000. Action folded to David Benyamine who re-raised all in for 150,000, the rest of the table folded and both players tabled their hands.

Benyamine: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} was a good flop for Benyamine but the {a-Hearts} on the turn gave him a little sweat heading to the river. The river was the {4-Spades} instead and Benyamine scooped a $3,000 bounty.
