Turner Adds to Stack by Sending One Home

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Joshua Turner
Joshua Turner

The player in late position opened to 3,400 and Joshua Turner three-bet large to around 12,000 from the hijack. The cutoff opponent four-bet all in for 41,500, the initial raiser folded and Turner snap-called the bet.

Opponent: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Joshua Turner: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came down {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Turner's kings were still in the lead. An {8-Clubs} turn card sealed the deal for Turner and the dealer flipped over an irrelevant {10-Hearts} river card. Turner scooped in another pot and eliminated an opponent in the process of doing so.

Two Makhija Hands

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

A player in mid-position shoved for just over 13,000 and Amit Makhija called in the big blind.

Mid-position: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Amit Makhija: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for Makhija to hold with the higher kicker to eliminate his opponent.

Simon Deadman was on the same table and was kind enough to relate that Makhija had tripled up earlier when Caesar Claudio limped in for 1,200, Makhija did the same and Dmitry Yurasov decided to raise to 4,800. Claudio called and Makhija shoved for 40,000. Yurasov called and now Claudio shoved for 200,000. Yurasov now folded his {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Makhija had {7-}{7-} and Claudio held {9-}{9-}. The flop came {7-}{2-}{3-} for Makhija to flop a set and stay alive.

Turner Shows a Winner

Nível 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Joshua Turner
Joshua Turner

The flop read {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} and the pot had about 9,000 in it. A player in the big blind checked to Joshua Turner in late position who bet around 4,000 and his opponent quickly check-called.

The {2-Spades} peeled off as a turn card and again the big blind player checked. Turner reached for chips and pushed in 12,700. His opponent called and the {6-Diamonds} fell on the river.

Action checked to Turner who instantly moved all in for more than enough to cover his opponents remaining stack. After a moment of thought, his opponent mucked and Turner tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for nothing but queen-high as he scooped in the pot.

Joseph Frizzi: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Dylan Linde: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Frizzi's pair of aces took down the pot, doubling through Linde who now has just 10,000 left.

Chan Doubles Through Krause in a Battle of the Blinds

Nível 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a board reading {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Daniel Chan was all in from his big blind. Andreas Siegfried Krause, in the small blind was contemplating a call when the player on the button tried calling a clock, but was informed that it hadn't even been thirty seconds.

Krause made the call a few moments later and the players tabled their hands.

Daniel Chan: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
Andreas Siegfried Krause: {4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Chan had turned the wheel, which was good enough to secure his double up.
