Who Will Make the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo Final Table?

Ken Aldridge
Ken Aldridge

Just 23 players remain in contention for the WSOP gold bracelet and $443,641 in prize money that awaits the winner of Event #18: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo Championship.

The plan for Day 3 is to play down to a final table of six ready for the live stream to begin on Sunday. The pace of eliminations, especially early on, is expected to be rapid; five players will begin the day with less than five big bets to their name.

Leading the way is Ken Aldridge with 1,178,000 in chips. The former teacher already has one WSOP bracelet which he won back in 2009 when he took down the $1,500 NLHE 6-Max for $428,259 defeating the likes of Bryce Yockey and Bryn Kenney who were earning just their first and second WSOP cashes respectively.

Second in chips is another bracelet winner, Owais Ahmed with 1,074,000. The only other player over a million in chips, his bracelet came in 2011 in the $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better event.

Other well-known players through to Day 3 and setting their sights on a spot at the final table include Shaun Deeb, Mike Matusow, Robert Mizrachi, Mike Wattel and Day 1 chip leader Yarron Bendor.

Stay tuned to PokerNews for all the action here on Day 3.
