In the last hand of the previous level, Marko Maher raised to 28,000 from early position and Michael O'Grady called from the hijack. Tommy Nguyen, sporting a Toronto Raptors jacket and matching cap today, three-bet to 137,000 from the big blind. Maher four-bet to 288,000, O'Grady quickly released, and Nguyen peeled a flop.

The atmosphere at the final table is relaxed, with almost all of the players settled in and comfortable with their deep stacks in front of them. Cary Katz is one of the players making small talk at the table and also raised to 25,000, with Marko Maher being the one to defend the big blind.
Katz kept the casual conversation going on a

turn, Katz flung in 100,000, but Maher countered with a check-raise to 330,000. Katz quickly called and yelled "Go diamond!"
