Luca Rivers a Flush to Eliminate Rughani

Nível 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded around to Ivan Luca in the small blind, and he raised to 240k. Vivek Rughani was in the big blind with a stack worth 1.4m and moved all in. Luca made the call, and Rughani saw he needed help from the board.

Ivan Luca: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Vivek Rughani: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Board: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Rughani hit the ace of the flop to take the lead, but Luca was not dead in the hand after he picked up extra outs with a flush draw. The turn gave Rughani two pair and was set for a double-up until the river came the {9-Spades} to give Luca the pot.

Rughani banked $77,695 for his run.

Ansher Eliminated by Hecklen

Nível 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Jeremy Ansher
Jeremy Ansher

Down to what appeared to be 925,000, Jeremy Ansher moved all in from early position and the action folded all the way to Henrik Hecklen in the big blind. The Dane checked his cards and called instantly. The camera crews rushed to the table for the showdown and the following cards were tabled:

Jeremy Ansher: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Henrik Hecklen: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop changed nothing much, but Ansher picked up a huge sweat with the {5-Spades} turn. A blank {J-Spades} followed on the river and that sent Ansher to the rail in 89th place.

Lack Spikes a Huge River

Nível 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Randall Lack
Randall Lack

In a blind on blind battle, Peter Campo and Randall Lack arrived on the turn with a {5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{J-Clubs} board out. Campo checked, Lack bet 950,000, Campo check-raised all in and Lack instantly called it off for 3,545,000 total.

Randall Lack: {K-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Peter Campo: {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Campo was ahead with two pair but Lack had straight and flush outs to save his Main Event. Lack rose from his chair to watch his fate unfold.

"Come on, one time, one time!" he yelled through the Amazon room.

With the camera's in place, the dealer finally burned and turned the {A-Clubs} on the river to improve Lack to Broadway and the winning hand.

"Yes, yes!" Lack yelled as he clapped his hands in excitement. Campo was a good sport and fist-bumped his adversary.

"I have to do that," Lack apologetically said to Campo. "It's such a big board for me."

Pyne Doubles Through Ziskin

Nível 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

With plenty of chips already in the middle and the turn showing [Jd7h5h19d], Ricky Pyne ended up all in and at risk for 1,750,000 and Alexander Ziskin put him at risk to create the following showdown:

Ricky Pyne: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}
Alexander Ziskin: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

The {Q-Spades} on the river changed nothing whatsoever and Pyne scored a full double, taking a big chunk out of Ziskin's stack.

De Laat Jams Into Fletcher

Nível 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Clayton Fletcher raised it up to 200,000 from the hijack and was called by Bas De Laat on the button and Bart Lybaert in the big blind. The flop came {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Lybaert checked, Fletcher continued for 290,000 and both opponents called. On the {A-Spades} turn, Lybaert quickly checked and Fletcher made it 550,000 to go. This time, only De Laat called.

The {4-Clubs} fell on the river and Fletcher checked, while De Laat now thought about his move for more than two minutes. Fletcher called the clock on his opponent and a few moments later, De Laat moved all in for 1,895,000. Fletcher asked for a count but folded after some two minutes himself.
