Shaw's Kings Hold to Win

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Frederik Salari got all his chips into the middle preflop and was up against Sharukh Shaw.

Frederik Salari: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Sharukh Shaw: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Board: {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

"I need some luck," said Salari when he saw Shaw's hand. The flop and turn weren't what he needed, however it did produce him some extra outs. But the river sealed his elimination fate after Shaw hit a set of kings.

Kopp Doubles Through Liebeler

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

All the money got in preflop between William Kopp and Eric Liebeler with Kopp at risk with the shorter stack of 745,000.

William Kopp: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Eric Liebeler: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, which put Kopp in a deep hole as he now needed to catch just straight outs or running cards to stay alive, but the turn was the {J-Diamonds} which now improved Liebeler to the straight but gave Kopp a full nine outs to a full house. The river was one of those as the {K-Diamonds} rolled off, pairing the board and earning the double for Kopp, leaving Liebeler with just 675,000 chips.

Who Won the 888poker "8-Team" World Series of Poker Main Event Competition?

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

888poker ran an "8-Team" competition during this year's World Series of Poker Main Event. Seven professional poker players from seven different countries selected a wingman and an 888poker qualifier to their team. The team that accumulated the most points by going the deepest in the WSOP Main Event won 3 Main Event packages for the 2019 World Series of Poker. Russia's Team Captain Arsenii Karmatckii was the last of the 8-team members to bust the World Series of Poker Main Event in 268th place for $42,980. Was that enough for Russia to win the "8-Team" event?

Mor Gets More After Double Elimination

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Scott Franklin raised to 80,000 from early position and Adam Geyer three-bet all in for 330,000. Ofir Mor was in the big blind and reraised all in as well. Franklin snap-called for his last 630,000.

Scott Franklin: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Adam Geyer: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Ofir Mor: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

It wasn't good for the two at-risk players holding each other's outs, but the {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop gave them gutshot outs and a backdoor flush draw for Geyer. The turn {2-Clubs} and river {10-Spades} didn't help either player and Mor scored the double knockout to moved over three million chips.
