Big Pot Poker

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Roman Lanzerstorfer opened with a raise to 65,000 from the hijack and Shannon Shorr three-bet to 205,000 on the button. Jaime Kaplan was in the big blind and four-bet to 555,000. Lanzerstorfer thought for a moment but elected to fold while Shorr made the call to put over one million chips in the pot preflop.

The dealer fanned the flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Kaplan checked to Shorr who tossed in a bet of 325,000. Kaplan mulled it over but decided to lay his hand down, sending a healthy pot over to Shorr.

Josephy Launches a River Bomb to Take Down a Big Pot

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Cliff Josephy
Cliff Josephy

William Kopp opened with a raise to 55,000 from early position before Cliff Josephy made it 170,000 from the next seat over. Action folded around to the cutoff where Eric Liebeler cold-called Josephy's three-bet and Kopp called as well.

"Oh boy," Josephy said as the dealer began to spread the flop.

The flop was the {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Kopp and Josephy both checked to Liebeler who put out a bet of 250,000. Kopp folded while Josephy called.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and this time both players checked. On the {3-Clubs} river, Josephy thought for a bit before announcing that he was all in with a covering stack on Liebeler for about 1,700,000 effective. Liebeler thought for a good while before he finally let his hand go and Josephy took down the pot with no showdown.

Harvell Eliminates Quevedo

Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Justin Harvell raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Federico Quevedo moved all in for 232,000 next to act. It folded back to Harvell who called turning over {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Quevedo showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades}.

Quevedo paired his queen in the window to take the lead on the {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. The dealer burned and turned the {8-Hearts} and Harvell turned a set of eights leaving Quevedo drawing dead.

The meaningless {3-Hearts} completed the board earning Harvell the pot and Quevedo was sent to the rail.
