Several players in the Amazon Orange section have been able to build their stack and among them was Samantha Abernathy.

Scott Matte raised to 2,200 from early position and Abernathy three-bet to 6,000 from one seat over. Matte called and checked the flop. A continuation bet worth 7,000 did the trick for Abernathy to claim the pot uncontested right there.

With the action on the river and around 22,500 in the pot, Jeff Hakim checked in the big blind and his opponent fired 20,600 from the cutoff. Hakim spent several minutes thinking and some of the other players used that break to stand up and stretch their legs. Then, Hakim finally waived the white flag, signalling a fold by slightly moving his cards towards the muck.

Cyndy Violette has been hovering between 150,000 and 200,000 chips today. She was down a little bit from when we last checked on her, but she did win another pot.

In a small blind versus big blind battle, Violette called a raise to 10,500 on the flop. The turn was dealt and the player in the small blind put in another 8,500. Violette called again and the river came down.

This time both players checked and the player in the small blind opened up . Violette took a good look and then opened up to take down the pot.

The board was down , and Xuan Liu was on the button and bet 12,000 after her opponent had checked to her from the hijack. Liu's opponent raised to 24,000, and she went into thinking mode. Liu thought for several minutes with her opponent waiting for her to act before she moved all in.

The hijack player needed a couple of minutes himself to think before eventually letting hand his go and allowing Liu to pick up the pot.
