The board read and there was about 110,000 in the middle already. Larry Hirschfield bet 40,000 from the big blind and Richard Gryko tanked for a while but then opted to fold.
Joining the action on the turn, Timothy Lau in the blinds check-raised a bet from George Hamati to 24,500 and was called to see the on the river. Lau moved all in almost instantly and Hamati sent his cards into the muck.
Over on the secondary feature, Farah Galfond faced a raise to 2,700 by Jeffrey Tanouye, who she had doubled earlier, and three-bet to 8,000 out of the small blind with 11,600 behind. Tanouye moved all in and Galfond called it off.

The board ran out and Galfond was eliminated. Brian Altman continues to be the chip leader over on the secondary feature table towards the end of the penultimate level on Day 2a.
Marc MacDonnell has just been moved to a new table here in the Miranda room which already included Christopher Kostoulas, Brad Albrinck, Robert Gussoni, Alberto Meran, Lior Segre, and Charlie Godwin.
MacDonnell decided to get involved immediately from the button by calling the 2,700 raise of Brad Albrinck (late position).
The flop came , Albrink continued with a bet of 3,000 and MacDonnell called.
The turn brought them the , Albrinck's continuation-bet of 7,500 was also called by MacDonnell.
The river completed the board with the , Albrinck now decided to check. MacDonnell bet 11,000 and after some careful consideration, Albrinck called. MacDonnel tabled for the rivered pair of aces to take down the pot.
Right after that, Kostoulas raised to 2,700 from under the gun and only MacDonnell called.
The flop came , Kostoulas check-called the 3,000 bet of MacDonnell.
They both checked through the on the turn and the on the river. Kostoulas showed and take was enough for MacDonnell to muck.
Shortly after, Charlie Godwin was eliminated by Albrinck.
Loren Klein opened to 2,800 under the gun. The player on the button called.
Players saw a flop of . Klein checked. The button bet 3,000. Klein called. The turn brought the and was checked through to the river. Klein threw in a bet of 3,300, that was enough to claim the pot.
Kevin Ho raised from middle position to 3,000 and one seat over it was Jeffrey Tanouye who three-bet to 8,100 with Ho making the call.
The flop came down and both players checked.
The turn was the and this time Ho decided to bet. He put in 8,100 and now it was Tanouye's turn to act again. He did make the call and both went to the river.
The river was the and Ho checked to Tanouye. He flung 12,300 in the middle and Ho opted to fold, sending the pot over to Tanouye.
Melanie Weisner was in early position, check-calling a bet of 6,000 on the flop. Her opponent was on the button and he barrelled the turn, making it 18,000. Weisner check-called again and the river was checked by both players.
Weisner tabled and her opponent made a gesture indicating that he was ahead until the king hit the felt. He mucked his hand and Weisner moved to the ballpark of 200,000 in chips.
