Vitch Landsliding His Table

Nível 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Brian Hastings raised, Chris Vitch three-bet out of position and Hastings fired a four-bet. Vitch called and they went to the first draw where both rivals changed two.

That street was checked and Vitch changed one again. Hastings patted and bet in position. Vitch wasn't willing to give up and called.

They both patted the last draw and Hastings turned up nine-seven.

"I have an eight," Vitch said, briefly showing what looked like an eighty-seven.

Vitch seized another pot, tackling Hastings to a short stack while rocketing towards 500,000 himself.

Lord Tries to Pull a Fast One on Hampton

Nível 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Jesse Hampton raised in the cutoff and Kristan Lord three-bet the small blind. Hampton four-bet and Lord called. Lord took two and Hampton one, and Lord check-called. Draws repeated but this time, Hampton check-raised. Lord called and both players patted. Lord bet a final time and was quickly called.

"You got it," he said.

"Pair?"

Lord flashed the pair and Hampton showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.

Becker Doubles Through Hampton

Nível 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Jesse Hampton raised first to act and Johannes Becker three-bet it. Hampton put him all in for 4,000 more and drew one each round, while Becker stayed pat. Hampton missed and could only muster a three-card six, not enough to beat the {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} of Becker.

Badugi

Nam Le check-called a bet from George Trigeorgis before the last draw and took a final card, while his opponent patted. Both players checked and Le showed a three-card six but couldn't beat Trigeorgis' king-badugi.

Left with just 5,000, Le busted out moments later.

Mike Leah Virtually Doubles

Nível 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Mike Leah raised on the button and Johannes Becker called in the big blind. They both took two on the first draw and Becker led out. Leah called.

Becker changed one and Leah changed two. Becker bet again and Leah raised. Becker called and Leah had just under a big bet left (14,000). Becker drew one, Leah patted and then they checked the river.

"Sixes," announced Becker and Leah showed nine-perfect to practically double up while Becker was left with two big bets or so.

Le Doubles Through Trigeorgis

Nível 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Nam Le was all in for 26,000 in the small blind against George Trigeorgis in the big. Both took two, then one, then patted. Le opened {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{a-}.

"Seems good," someone said.

In fact, it barely was as Trigeorgis had {6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{a-}.

McDermott Eliminated in Family Pot

Nível 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Badugi

All five players at Table 431 were in there on the second draw, and Timothy McDermott patted while Brian Hastings, Frank Kassela, Nam Le and Scott Seiver all drew one behind him. McDermott bet and it called around until Seiver popped it up. McDermott was all in for 14,000 and everyone else called.

McDermott broke and the others drew one until it got to Seiver, who bluffed throwing a card away and then pounded the table, getting a round of laughs.

"That would have been awesome," Kassela said.

"I thought it was in play," Hastings said.

"It was definitely in play," Seiver said.

Everyone checked the end and Kassela announced a ten. Seiver had it beat with {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and took the monster pot down to force a redraw.
