Zinno and Margereson Win Pots With a C-Bet

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno

Anthony Zinno raised to 2,500 from the under the gun position and Jason Koon called from the small blind. The player in the big blind called as well and with the three of them, they saw the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{A-Hearts} flop appear.

They checked it to Zinno and he took down the pot with a 4,000 continuation-bet.

It was Scott Margereson on one of the other tables that raised to 2,700 from the under the gun position. In Margereson's case, it was just the player in the big blind who called the bet and the flop came down {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}.

Scott Margereson bet 3,000 when his opponent checked to him and that won him the pot.

Daniel Negreanu and Justin Bonomo were heads-up in a pot when the flop was already out there and the pot had about 9,000 in it.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Negreanu check-called a 3,000 bet of Bonomo. The turn came a {5-Clubs} and Negreanu checked to Bonomo again. Bonomo dropped two 5,000 chips in the middle and it was back on Negreanu, who folded and Bonomo took down the pot.

Gross Doubles to Leave Frank Short

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The board was down {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and Jeff Gross was all in with pocket queens in front of him. Christopher Frank was on the button to Gross' direct left and had {a-}{k-} in front of him.

Gross had secured a full double up through Frank, and when the dealer confirmed the amount, Frank was left with just 10,000.

Harwood Doubles, Deeb in the Tank

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Loni Harwood in a previous event

The board was already complete on the board looking {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Loni Harwood had all of her chips in front of her with a black all-in button lying next to it.

Her opponent was Shaun Deeb and he had quite the decision to make. The pot had about 60 to 70 thousand in it and Harwood's all-in was for 66,700. Deeb thought about the decision and eventually decided to go for it.

As soon as he made the call Harwood opened up the {K-Spades}{9-Spades} for the second nut flush and Deeb tabled {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a pair of tens.
